luggNstick
the ones that work. or work more often than the others iv been looking into them alot lately and i think the garmin aspro seems the way to go and seems cheaper aswell but i dont think its as good as the old contact pros just seems cooler and more high tech Quote Link to comment

kieran parkes
there is a bit of controversy with trackers atm Aspros are good for knowing what ur dog is doing and good for close range work but mine and most peoples drop out when they get to the k mark in thick stuff the other radio 1s are ment to be good for the longer range finds but u dont have the map or ne of the features a Aspro has Quote Link to comment
Dogmann
I used a mix of Titley and Wildlife Materials gear and it would reach out a couple of K's but the Garmins are my choice now because of the maps and detail you get on what the dog is and exactly where it is. If they drop out I just get to where the last signal was and they pop in again either on the way there or when I get there. Have had them reach to 1.5kms. I'm trying those longer range aerials from NZ now but have not done enough with them to make a useful comment so far. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
