johnnychimpo
Hey guys, Aussie bloke living overseas - been moving around a lot in the last 2 years sowing my wild oats and whatever other rubbish they say your supposed to do when your young and stupid. Settling down with my family in the USA but missing Aussie life big time, as they say you can take the boy outta the country but you cant take the country outta the boy. Been hunting a few times over here for eurasian boar in the midwest (where im settled), good fun, but the dogs over here aren't the same. Joined up to look for a few good ozzie dogs I can get sent over here and show these boys how its done Quote Link to comment
Dogmann
Welcome mate, There's a couple of texas hogging sites that have a few Aussie style yank hunters on them, might be able to connect??? Anyway, good luck with it all and the search for a dog or two. Cheers. Quote Link to comment

Theres only 1 guy up here I've found so far who works with dogs, and he does everything off the ground, with hounds and some pure bred APBT and AB's for catches. Just bought myself a nice ute (or truck as they call em here) noone here reckons you can get a dog to find em off a ute, I'm out to prove different since I never had any troubles back home. Everyone has their way of doing things, and I'm not ragging on em, just different to what I'm used to is all Quote Link to comment
johnnychimpo
Yeah thinking about a few Arabs and a couple Bullgreys - hopefully a good breeding pair of each. So I don't have to keep getting Aussie dogs sent over! I'm not much of a fan of the coonhounds and curs they run over here, the only things that catch my eye are the Catahoula's they got some real good ones out my way, and a few of the American Bulldogs are amazing but not really my cup of tea. Plus I wouldn't mind having a go at running some deer when the seasons on, didn't get to do any of that out at Boullia ahah Quote Link to comment
