Contact your breeder, see who they recommend as a trainer in SEQ. Anybody who uses terms like "blooded" and thinks dogs need "domination" is a dickhead. Dogs need good leadership and a calm, consistent training and management.

Might be worth getting some education for your bitch before you look at hunting. There are some good trainers in SEQ who could help you get a proper handle on her, a dog with social and obedience issues is hard to get a tag along hunt with.

Not only is that flicking funny Fred, it''s pretty accurate. I thought he must have missed his morning Prozac. Guard dog people think pig dogs are the devil incarnate and because they are so savage they are responsible for all the dog attacks and pig dog people think guard dog people have mindless, savage dogs and are flicking it for everyone. I have a foot in both camps and there are good blokes and dickheads in both. If you can't have a pigdog out in the bush because it attacks anything that moves then it's useless, if you can't have a protection dog around other people, especially your own family then it's pretty useless as well. I don't know that Donavan would have much of a following here, he has too much in common with MH for pig doggers to embrace him.
