Hi all,
I am moving to Australia shortly from the UK, sorry!, and wondering what type of game you hunt and what different dogs you use.
I presently have a border collie dog and a greyhound/working bearded collie cross from a popular breeder called David Hancock who produces working collie/greyhound crosses which we call lurchers and use to hunt rabbits, hares and foxes.
From looking briefly it appears that you use similar crosses called staghounds?
I will be moving to start work with a company called jemena in Clayton, near Melbourne towards the end of august and it would be good to get a pup towards the end of the year.
Does anyone over there hunt with collie/greyhound crosses?
