Hey ozziedoggers I've been watching this forum for a while so i decided to join in and add my 2 bobs worth. I am 28 i live in Geelong and i have done plenty of fishing as well as rabbit and fox hunting, Its time to get more serious and bag myself a porky pig. I have recently set myself up with a decent hunting rig. Although i am still a year or so away from my having my dream hunting dog duo staghound + ridgeback combo as sadly I've got nowhere to keep them. Anyways looking forward to picking you seasoned hunters brains for some good hog hunting techniques.

hey diggers just new to this forum what a wicked place it is too, from vic do a fair bit of rabbiting and spotlighting. ive never had a hunting dog before but my old man has 2500 acres near roma so im looking for a all rounder dog for hunting rabbits hares foxes in geelong and pigs goats ect in roma any ideas i thought staghound, whippet, pharoah hound, not sure though what yas reckon?
