Hi jimmy i am new here too. i am pretty keen on taking up some bow hunting in my adventures, i am concerned on how effective can you be with a bow though? what sort of range and what can be included in your prey??

Gday every one. my alias is obviously arnold and i am new to this kind of stuff. being a memeber of a site like this, not hunting, relatively old hat at that. I have been dogging many times with some really experienced old school cats. had some mad times and catches too. I have owned some beautiful dogs in my time and have now just relocated to SEQ, sunshine coast from Adelaide to get closer to the action. Hay Plain is the closest to adelaide for any action i have come accross. I currently have a beautiful female pure bull mastiff who is more of an ornament that anything but if a bailer pulled up a big 100+ KG boar and we could somehow forklift her in she could definately be a good holder, if she laid on it there is no way it would get away. I am in search of a very specific breed for a male and once i am acquainted better here i will begin looking. all the best fellas and i proud to be here.
