  1. some young dogs love and can be let hit bigger pigs seen 4 and a half month old pups hold a 50kg boar on its own with out any troubles but also does depends on the pup some will thrive on it some will just sit back and watch until they are ready let them hit what size pig they are willing to but dont egg them into it if they want to have a go they will if not leave it at that and let them watch and learn a bit more

  2. mate no point going to a place with out cattle as that wont teach ur dog anything about cattle

put them on a lead the first time and if they bark growl or try and chase it let him know that he really does nto want to do that

    and get your r licence

if you get that and want to get your dogs working off the ute pm me once you have your r licence and can get upto newcastle area

BUT if your dog does jump off at a roo or a bat or something that it shouldnt it will either get clipped up or will get a good piece of discepline off you or me

  3. mate start taking them now

and see what they do just let them go at their own pace dont through them right beside the pig let them make their own way in and be at a distance they want

and if they show interest ie barking growling bouncing around waging their tales give them a patt and encourage them on and if they dont show any interest they just need a little longer but keep taking them both every trip and they will get more and more confident and lugg or start showing interest and it will progress from there

  4. mate just get a lend of some1's dog even if it isnt a finder just a lugger and take it with you and your dog to where u said all those pigs were about 20 meters away even the lugger will be able to find a pig in there and then your dog will see what it is meant to do and then once he lugs you will b able to start taking him out on your own
