you say u have no dogs? and your in the market for a dog or dogs... just a few tips... stay away from people called mike hodgens or matt klemments... then think of what dog will suit your needs...ask lots of questions and gather info...only way... terry

mate its like they said pig numbers...my arab bitch was10 months and my arab cross was 12 months..but my young male 6 months arab shows signs of now he want some of this action...but i wanted to hold my bitches back a lil to mature a bit first and i think it has worked well as behaviour wise they r well behaved...and i can verbally call them off a pig and get them back on...so my 6 month old male shows more of just a meat headed lugger so he will need more training but he will learn from the older bitches but unless your got country thats has plenty of pigs just let it happen and go out with expirienced dogs as they will show the way for your pup. terry

he lives with 2 kids 13 free range chickens and we have cattle and he doesnt seem to care about the cattle but my charbray hates dogs and will make short work of any dog with his horns... i have done lots of training at home and it paid off when a asked him to leave he released the pig and sat and watched it ready to go again. my mate was amazed that while it squeal and i held and dispatched it he just sat and waited for the next command...the most well behaved dog i have ever owned.

hello peoples, just a quick hello to let people know im a newbie at pig hunting and this website. i have taken my pup pugsly on his first hunt 15-08-09 and he bagged himself a piglet.. no training needed. he is a purebred bullmastiff and at 6 months weighs 37 kg. not a bad effort. im also on the look out for a bull arab bitch pup... my wife wants in on the fun..ill add a pic on here if i can. talk to u guys soon. terry
