    Hi Charles

    B

I grew up ferreting. its a top way of hunting. i started with nets and then progressed to scatter guns later on.

  2. gday guys. just trying to see what this site is all about. catching some big pigs up north but having a bad run lately. lost a dog to a croc and have been really set back by it.

they are a bastard of a creature those crocs. i dont hunt my luggers too close to any major river system or bodies of water to cut the chances a little bit.

  3. Pig hunting has been a traditional sport in New Zealand for over two thousand years. This sport is actually hunting of wild pigs and wild boars which abound in the nothern part of New Zealand. Many farmers in the past think that wild pigs are a pest because of their habit of eating their crops and for these reason, the farmers hunts kill them.

thousands of years ? try possibly 2 hundred

and they are on the south island as well.

this has to be a gee up

  4. G'day all

I've just signed up and im from the Northern Territory. I hunt pigs with both luggers and/ or bailers. I prefer the mix of the two but now and then just take the bailing dogs so i can hunt for long periods in the harsher times of the day which the N.T climate produces.
