Dane X Mastiff

G'day everyone, I'm looking at buying a couple of pups to start chasing pigs.I've shot plenty of pigs over the years but now i have the itch

to get amongst the action with some good dogs.I am considering buying two mastiff x dane pups just wondering how many people out there use this breed and what there like?

I have hunted with this breed and they are a handy all round breed

Find hold no problem

Just consider the terrain you will be hunting as there might be better options for you

Not saying they can't do it but other breeds might do it easier

yeah mate i hunt with the more leaner leggier style and they seem to hunt well in all types of terrain and my uncle has hunted this breed for over 30 years with plenty of success. Good luck

Thanks for that guys, looks like there's a few pups on the ground at the moment so it shouldn't be a problem finding a couple of good dogs, Can't look at pictures yet but i'm in sth east qld and keen so i might have to make a few phone calls. Cheers.
