Guest Gazman Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 gday everybody my names Gary im 25 live near Sydney and a virgin to piggin with dogs....i have an american bulldog thats bout 2 and a bandog 1.5 and am havin my first crack at usin my dogs very soon....they have never seen or even smelt a pig so does anyone have any pointers for me...any help would b much appreciated...cheers Gary Quote Link to comment

hairydogz Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 gday gary and welcome. Make sure you have basic obedience down pat with your dogs before you introduce them to pigging. People often have dramas starting older dogs esp when their prey drive overrides their reward drive (ie want to please you) and you have two very intelligent but also hard headed breeds there. sorry im not real good with the proper terms.
