  1. it's pretty simple,on these forum's if you ask question's like that it just becomes a shit fight, breed of dog dosent realy mean much at all if there not worked regular.if you have arab's or a arab and your not happy with it than get something else you dont need a pile of stranger's telling you after all your the only one that know's the amount of work you have put into it and exactly what your not happy with.

  2. I sent my brother in law around to see the night eater man. He has some of the best lights in the world. If you ever get the chance to check him out I would he is Victoria. They specialise in search lights. He will run you through the lights has has and you can compare he has a milo tin light that has to be seen to be believed. My brother in law took the 9" standard power beam and there was no comparision to the nighteater's. Night eater man advises it's all in the reflector that's what makes the difference.

The two biggest drawbacks with Night eater's are the price and the time it takes to get one.

do you know if he does replacement covers and reflectors for the nighteaters??????mines got a few years on it and has a clear layer flakin off the lens...the reflectors gettin a bit dull but still throws plenty of light although compared to a new powerbeam it threw the same amount of light distance wise but there was a difference in brightness,,i still reckon you cant go past powerbeam,80 bucks for replacement reflector and lens and youve got a new light.

  3. Hey guys, I'm new here and just wanna introduce myself. I am 18 and am looking at getting into hunting pigs with dogs but have never done it before but eager to get out there. I just have a few q's that you guys could help me with. Do I need a permit or anything to hunt pigs? Also what dogs do you suggest I get, I have 2 german shep males that are getting on and I want to get a nice pig dog and work with him. I like the sound of the Bull Enduro's by Mike Hodgens, whats your opinion of them? Also, I live in SE Victoria and I have never heard of feral pigs down my way but if any of you know of good hunting spots in Victoria your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys, I look forward to getting into it.

nah mate being victorian your mentally exempt from all permits permission or paid propertys,,,you have that special birthright that allows ya to cross borders and hunt any road or track wether it be public or private land, national park or state forests in australia, the enduros will definately compliment the style of your ageing german shepherds and mike is a top bloke also,,theres plenty of pigs in victoria just drive thru towns and look for the shinyest ute with the cleanest dogbox and you can guarantee the nearest vacant land will be stocked with plenty of piglets that have been trapped in other states and rehomed in vic but failing that just go for a run with someone else and once ya know were they go youll be right to go back by yaself from than on but dont forget to take atleast 3 different people back there each time you go,,,good luck :anim_25:
