  1. and so it begins

the lady didn't say what she thought she was being trained for. i can only look into any possibilty from the details i was given. as i said, i dont hunt and dont know much about it, or fighting for that matter. so im just trying everything. but im guessing by your post that your not overly informed on fighting either.

but if i appear 'cracked out', then so be it, at least that was just another person who was informed of my missing dog hay

and regardless of whether i had that information or not, i'snt it still a good idea to post a thread here, where everyone is quite dog aware and would be able to tell an amstaff from a beagle!? i think so anyways, or is that my pipe talking? :P

  2. gday, did you get here from dogs online? i saw your post on whirlpool about it too

i dont think you will find any info on here re fighting dogs, as has been stated hunting dogs are not bred for fighting ability, so you could say that hunters dont want to associate with that crowd

like has been said we are fighting an uphill battle because of the portraying of hunting dogs by the media, antis, the uninformed and the like

best of luck with your dog search... there is a few other sites you could try, boardogs being one of them

nar, i just googled pig hunting and looked for the more populated sites. as i thought, for our location it may be more likely that she'd be used for hunting than fighting. as the nearest fighting ive heard of is on central coast?

but as you know, im posting everywhere i can! hopefully eventually someone will recognise her! just trying to attack this from every angle!

  3. thanks for your reply. i wasn't offended, just a bit worried on posting here!

as i said, i know people around here who do go hunting, but thats the extent of my knowledge of the goings on! our male amstaff, his father use to go hunting, but only on the odd occasion.

i can only imagine the battle you guys are having. i myself however am facing a battle of a different kind though, the battle to get my dog back off the scums that took her. god only knows what their intentions are, but i cant imagine there any good.

are there even any fighting groups around this area?? i dont understand why they'd want to fight her, she's a great looking bitch, with the most gentle soul, she gets tugged around the yard by the ear from my 3yo and doesnt bat an eyelid...

  4. ok, honetly, i know nothing about hunting etc. so that description is not obviously anything to me, cos i honestly wouldn't know.

[our dog is a papered amstaff who came from a breeder who does the whole showing scene (not my cup of tea)]

she has 'vanished' into thin air 2days after she was taken. i have advertised everywhere, tried everything.

that information i recieved gave me the impression of some type of hunting, so thought it might be worth my while coming here and asking around?

so at the risk of being shot down in flames, ridiculed etc, that information i quoted was given to me by an animal communicator aka pet pcsychic.

the same information and descriptions have been given to me by 2 different communicators on seperate occasions with no knowledge of eachother.

so whether your open minded enough to accept this is possible, or not, does that description sound like its hunting related or not?

any specifics would be greatly appreciated, i just want our families pet back before its too late

ps. i am not loopy i promise!! im just a wife&mother trying to get my son's best friend back

  5. he's a nice looking BOY too!!

im just going to copy & paste some info i got, just be VERY open minded :P

"she is on her own most of the time and when she is let out, she has to run alot. there are 2 men (one is definitely older than the other and more authoritive). she gets fed enough (she doesn't go hungry) however her exercise regime is quite intense - don't know what she is running after but she runs fast and hard.

the running is hard work. Where she runs seems to be in a park or their property as it is green with bushes and there are other dogs there but she isn't allowed to socialise with them - they are all off leads though. They are very specific with what she does. not sure if they are training more than her at the same time but I don't see any other people with them. She doesn't travel to get there, she walks there within 10min"

does it sound like a familiar mode of training for anything??
