What weight wombat?

No idea, didn't have scales, If I had to guess id say somewhere a little over 140kg+ live. Got heaps I did weigh off this place that went 110-115 live and this guy was a fair bit bigger than them. It was a weird place the pigs were either 40-50kg or 100+, never caught anything in the middle.

Was a 30 meter find when we stopped to open a gate next to the trough, he never even tried to run. Probably the easiest pig i ever caught. This one, caught later the same night, was a 3km find off a deady through thick, horrible channels and made the dogs work real hard to keep him pulled up, he was about typical size for boars off that block, only two pigs we got that night

125Kg Barra caught during one of the worst droughts we have had. Caught with My mate Steven. His dog did a good find at night and bailed him up. Then we took my old toothless dog in with a pup to anchor him.

This is a memorable one as it was just down the road, an area heavily dogged, I would of walked 100's of km's  over the years for not much, then one day this guy crosses the track 15m in front of me on his way back into the mangroves to bed down. One arrow, he died on the spot.

Funny you say that, a station about 50-60km away got sold and when they did they opened the gate on the pig pen and let maybe 100 large white and landrace pigs out. That was maybe 15 years before I started hunting out there but you'd still catch plenty of saddle backs, white pigs, and pigs with big floppy ears and pushed up faces. I have no doubt there is a big chunk of domestic DNA in just about every big boar I got out that way. This one i did weigh, was 126kg live, floppy ears, pushed up face, short little legs. No doubt theres a big wedge of domestic in him, probably 40km as the crow flies from the place where the pigs were set loose 15 years before.

My biggest to date. Farmer called up my mate at 10am and said he saw a good boar heading to a small scrub area from a dam. We left work early and hit the paddock at 3:30pm and caught him maybe 1km from the dam. Took 3 dogs to pull him up.

This one was 131kg from memory and he almost killed one of the main dogs. 2 experienced bitches caught him in a lantana clump.

This one was 135kg. The same two experienced bitches found him in a forage paddock, took them about 15 mins to actually find him as he was laying doggo. He headed straight for the car and missed it by 1m, went about 250m past before they pulled him up.

Never weighed this one due to location and a severely torn up dog. But I am guessing 130+. We took the back legs and they were 18kg each.

Shot this sow on my deer block. She was 111kg dressed, but fat as flick. I'm guessing she had a splash of domestic in her but no idea where it came from.
