northern mick Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 advice would be to get bailing dogs as luggers are illegal to hunt with in Victoria itself. run your pup off experienced dogs with no bad habits (stock proof, socialble with other dogs and people, controlable) and let the pup learn its art off the older dogs. take the time and put in the hard yards from the start and learn a few things on the way. you will gain/learn more out of it. 2 Quote Link to comment

Bambi Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 Im from NSW and had to live in Sth Vic for this year, and if I had to live here any longer I would have changed to fox dogs- and that's even after ive got the pigging bug, the gear and the dogs.
