hey bud welcome to the site, im just out of adelaide, dont have a problem with snakes, theres the odd 1 around but dont need to worry, as for what you can hunt, its a no to deer with dogs, but rabbits foxs hares dingo's all good, but thats not fun, pigs is where its exciting
gday mate welcome to the site, you will soon realise most hunters on here have kids and family, all our dogs have a great temperment towards kids, if they dont, theyre gone so im sure you will find something your looking for mate
breeds can be determined from waht area and terrain you hunt, and wether you prefer a lugger or bailer
cheers
cheers mate and i sure do "stick under the arm" far away from the nasty end dont want to get ripped up
you blokes are mad, grabbing pigs on the ears without dogs, we have all seen it
welcome aboard mate, i speak to a fella at work from the kiwi land that used to hunt over there, he has convinced me to head over to the south island, cant wait for the day i do
cheers mate
where abouts you boys from, terrain can play a part in the right dog, all hunting breeds will find, but you want a breed that will be suited to your hunting style
i know how you feel mate its hard to get a property out that way
and when you do there are very pigs so you have to work to keep them to yourself
as for goats im trying to think of a place i know of, cant remember the name of the joint, its a pay property but you will get them
ill try think of it and get back to you mate
goodluck mate its hard enugh to get them with good dogs let alone stalking for pigs
plenty of goats about but they are worth money
head around the flinders you might find a property
im in adelaide
