  16. Still cheap I reckon. There's no short cuts in this game. It all costs one way or another. If you want to get ahead reread a few of the ealrier posts. That's all good advice. Cheers.
  17. All land is owned by someone. Either private or government. There's no free for all hunting places in Australia. How much are you looking at paying to go to a pay property? Aren't they only about $50 a night? If that's too much, the vet bills in this game will make you faint. Save up a bit more coin or get to know some private landholders. Cheers.
  18. Welcome to the site Sully. Cheers.
  19. Welcome to the site. And good luck with the search for a dog. Cheers.
  20. Yeah mate, there's a lot of hunting sites. This one is a good one for beginners as well as the experienced. There's a lot of info on here and you'll get answers to your questions without getting bagged out. Hook in and see where it takes you. Cheers.
  21. Welcome to the site Geoff. Get involved in a few discussions and ask questions, then blokes will get to know you a bit and offer a bit of help getting started... Where are you based? Cheers.
  22. Welcome to the site mate, Definitely pay attention to what Pig Mad says. It's normal to get all excited but breeding a whole lot of pups dramatically slows down your effective hunting. Pups have to be reared and homed and trained. It's hard to look after a heap of pups and get them trained when you are experienced and living in prime country let alone when you live on the central coast of NSW. They aren't toys. Just take your time. There's lots to learn and plenty of time to learn it. I'm 50 and started with my own dogs when I was 17. Take it from me, it's a lifetime of fun and if you get each dog you have in your care working to its proper potential it is far more satisfying than just having heaps of dogs. Heaps of dogs don't get you more pigs. Learn what's missing from the dogs yu use now over a couple of years and then consider breeding or buying dogs to fill those gaps. And if you really want to get into it...move to an area where there are plenty of pigs. That way you live the life and learn more rather than just feeling keen and half frustrated all the time. Cheers.
  23. G'day Paul, Best bet is to start a new post seperate to this one so we don't all get confused. Welcome to the site by he way. Cheers,
  24. G'day Simon, Depending on the direction from Inverell there's likely to be pigs on your Dad's place or close by. Cheers.
  25. G'day mate, Welcome to the site. Cheers.
